Not Alone - Dane Money

Who says this world cannot be hard,
Full of worry, pain and tears?
Who says this world isn't wearing us down,
And aging us all beyond our years?

Don't you know there's no guarantee
That tomorrow you will be living?
Don't you know our society
Is cruel, cold, and unforgiving?

Who says this world wouldn't rip us apart,
Sell our belongings, bury our bones,
Forget we ever existed... if it could.
Does it make you feel alone?

Take heart, dear friend, though little hope remains,
To light your dreary pathway; to bring you safely home.
Your savior came and died, and now He lives again,
Faithfully reminding you that you are not alone.

So good...I'll have to read again. I like the meter.

I like it, Dane...I'm glad it has that last verse. *grin* If it didn't, it would be depressing. But you already know that, because you wrote it!
